About Me & My Mission Statement


I feel so very blessed to share my work with you!  I started my painting journey very unsuccessfully before there was access to the internet.  I was a little discouraged but continued on making art whether it may be painting on canvas, making jewelry, or putting flowers together while my little ones were growing.  Once we became empty nested I started (again) with this piece right above and haven't stopped painting!  After I realized how much I enjoyed painting this buffet I have turned painting furniture into a hobby that has brought in a passive income.  Since then I have taken painting classes to expand techniques and different painting styles.  This was when The Painted Table and Canvas was born!  I am in my happy place when I am creating and painting!  I was blessed with grand babies a few years ago I then started to paint more on canvas and wood.  And they all love painting with Grandma!  My mission is to provide an empowering and creative blog to inspire you to try your hand at something creative too!  A bible verse that has always encouraged me to never give up on myself is Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!"  And so can you!  You can find my little shop Here.
